It is a lockstitch sewing machine computerized full automatic. The machine is equipped with an edge cutter who let an edge of 3,2 mm and some models have tape binder. It has a servo motor with direct drive.
Lockstitch sewing machines with edge cutter are mainly used where it is necessary to maintain a constant distance of the seam from the edge. The LED control panel is easy to use and intuitive, easy to reset which allows the operator to use the machine with minimal training. Working area is illuminated with adjustable brightness LED. It's having a USB port which allows you to power different accessories and update the software.
The machine has the following automatic functions: auto bartacking, auto thread trimming, needle position, auto press foot lifter and electronic thread tension. The lubrication system is semi-dry. Works at 220V/50Hz. The 5558 models doesn't have automatic functions. The models with T letter have edge trimming and tape binder device.
